CLEAR CUT CRAFTS 2007

We have been selling our products at markets for the past few years but it has only been in the last year we have started to promote and sell via the internet hence the 2007 on the end of our business name. This business has taken many hours of designing and painstaking adjustments in a graphics program to be able to offer our customers the greatest range of colours and styles. Other than our Natural range all of our stock is presented in a wide range of colours including rainbow gradients.

Our business is a small home-based business in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. From design through to packaging we do it all, even the hand cutting. We have fallen in love with butterflies and our range keeps growing and growing. With over 160 in the range now we may have reached our limit :)

Now a little about our product: We produce a large range of 3 dimensional Butterflies, Moths, Dragonflies, Bees and Ladybugs. They are all printed on a plastic transparency which suits the butterfly images as they are quite transparent in reality. The butterfly images were taken from photographs captured at the Royal Melbourne Zoo & other photo resources. A very frustrating task as butterflies 1: hate to stand still and 2: very seldom open their wings while not in flight.

The inks used for printing are 100% fade resistant and waterproof making them great for inside and outside decorations.

Some of our butterflies are vibrant in colour and appear as they would in nature. With butterflies & moths though colour means danger. It is a way of them protecting themselves. Quite often as a predator approaches a moth or butterfly will open it's wings to reveal an eye like pattern or bright colours thus scaring it's enemy away.

Use them for Weddings, Scrapbooking, Floristry, Card Making, Cake Decorating and much more... The butterflies range from fantasy to reality, vibrant colours to the muted tones of the natural series.
